China faces a shortage of medical resources, which are unevenly distributed across the country. Advanced hospitals and medical services in remote western regions are significantly less accessible compared to those in the more developed eastern cities. As a result, many patients travel to other regions for treatment, further straining healthcare resources.
To address this, I developed a VR-based medical service system that fosters collaboration between hospitals in remote areas and major cities. This system allows doctors to receive up-to-date surgical training and helps cultivate skilled medical professionals locally. By improving access to training and resources, the system aims to reduce the disparity in healthcare availability, ease the burden on hospitals, and lower medical costs for patients across China.
