Future Plant

Group work

08/2022

Climate change is one of the most pressing global issues today, and the impacts of global warming are becoming increasingly evident. As human activity continues to trigger drastic ecological changes, microorganisms have adapted by breaking down pollutants into nutrients, fostering the growth of new ecosystems. However, due to the slower rate of genetic mutation in humans, our ability to adapt lags behind that of other species.

Under extreme ecological pollution, the world will increasingly be shaped by plants and animals that can coexist with us, creating an environment that is less hospitable to humans. This is a future scenario that predicts how plants might evolve in response to extreme environmental pollution.
